Activity Goal
The goal of this activity is to address the needs of nurse practitioners and physician assistants for information and practical instruction regarding new direct-acting antiviral (DAA) therapies for hepatitis C and their integration into clinical practice.


Target Audience
This CME/CE activity have been designed for nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, caseworkers, hepatologists, gastroenterologists, infectious disease specialists, primary care physicians, internists, family medicine physicians, obstetrician/gynecologists and other clinicians involved in the care of patients with HCV.

Learning Objective
Consider new efficacy and safety data and labeling changes related to first-generation protease inhibitor triple therapy in order to optimize the likelihood of treatment success in patients with chronic hepatitis C.
